Bioengineering, Nutritional Sciences & Microbiology

General Information

   Programmes outline:

  • The degree in Bioengineering lasts 3 years (180 ECTS) and includes three optional branches: Food Engineering, Environmental Engineering and Biomedical Engineering, which is selected by students upon entering the 3rd year of the course.
  • The degree in Nutritional Sciences lasts 4 years (240 ECTS).
  • The degree in Microbiology lasts for 3 years (180 ECTS).


Language of instruction: Portuguese.


Programme timetable: Presence is required in daytime and classes usually take place from Monday to Friday, between 8.30 am and 8.30 pm.
